'Thank you for returning illegally stolen funds' - President Buhari tells Swiss governmentPresident Buhari today in Abuja said Nigerian government remains deeply grateful to the government and people of Switzerland for their support in resuscitating the economy, especially the return of illegally stolen funds. Receiving Letters of Credence from the Ambassador of Switzerland to Nigeria, Mr George Steiner, at the Presidential Villa, President Buhari said the return of stolen funds and interventions in the crisis in the North East further indicate the Swiss government’s commitment to the development of Nigeria. “We are grateful to the Swiss government for allowing illegally stolen funds to be brought back to Nigeria,’’ he said. The President noted that the facilitating roles the Swiss government had been playing in the North East, particularly in reaching out to Internally Displaced Persons, had been most helpful, adding that bilateral relations between both countries will continue to be strengthened. Responding, the Swiss Ambassador said his government will always be disposed to supporting Nigeria in ensuring peace in the country, especially in the North East. “We have strong and solid relations with Nigeria. It’s an honour and privilege for us to contribute to issues of importance in the country,’’ he added. Steiner told President Buhari that the Swiss government looks forward to having stronger relations on economic issues with Nigeria that will be mutually beneficial, pointing out that the ongoing reforms in the country already send right signals to investors. The post 'Thank you for returning illegally stolen funds' - President Buhari tells Swiss government appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.

Whatever year-end content you're devouring this December, let's be real – you want to know about your year in Netflix. The streaming service is notoriously private about numbers, but did release a list of the top TV and film titles we binged this year.

Though Netflix released dozens of original films this year, the year-end press release doesn't rank overall viewership; it only names the three that were rewatched with the highest frequency.

Of course, social media has to be a metric, so Netflix also investigated the Instagram audience growth of stars who appeared in a Netflix film or series during the year. Yup, we follow all of them. Read more...

Bug bounty hunter Sahad Nk recently uncovered a series of vulnerabilities that left Microsoft users’ accounts — from your Office documents to your Outlook emails — susceptible to hacking.

While working as a security researcher with cybersecurity site SafetyDetective, Nk discovered that he was able to take over the Microsoft subdomain, http://success.office.com, because it wasn’t properly configured. This allowed the bug hunter to set up an Azure web app that pointed to the domain’s CNAME record, which maps domain aliases and subdomains to the main domain. By doing this, Nk not only takes control of the subdomain, but also receives any and all data sent to it. Read more...
